Stop Airlines From Charging Baggage Fees!!
We, the undersigned, believe that charging baggage fees on commerical airlines is tantamount to extortion. Airline tickets are high enough, and the public has the right to not be charged for necessary baggage. This petition does not include excess baggage fees or fees for oversized equipment such as skis and surfboards. We simply want the right to not be charged a fee for regular luggage up to the maximum requirement as set by the airline and the TSA. Baggage fees are criminal and we will begin to boycott airlines that charge them. Please consider the customer and his or her right to fly without expecting to pay what often amounts to half the airline ticket already purchased. STOP CHARGING US BAGGAGE FEES NOW!
