Stop iDevice Piracy
Are you a developer, or at least a person who believes in people getting paid for their hard work?
Piracy is a very large issue. It must be faced and dealt with. and violators should be punished. This petition, once signed, will be sent along with a letter asking Apple to fight against the creators of Installous. Another letter will be sent to the ISP or hosts of illegal Cydia repos to have them shut down, Do your part in keeping our internet free of thieves. You wouldn't want someone to steal from your pocket, don't let these thieves steal from the pockets of developers.
We the undersigned are among the many developers that make your company great. We make the apps that drive the every growing buzz about Apple. Putting aside the topic of jailbreaking, we developers feel we need to get your involvment in stopping piracy on your devices, Apps like Installous deminish what Apple and the jailbreaking community stand for. By allowing Hackulous to continue to run their Cydia Repository, it encourages too many people that it is ok to steal the apps that we developers have work hard on, lost sleep over, and put our valuable time and energy in creating. Without these developers, Apple Inc. would not be as great of a company as it is right now.
The signitures of everyone should show you that, while we love our work, we are tired of being robbed. Take a stand against piracy and help stop this theft.
