The closing of Guantanamo Bay Detention Fafcility

On Thursday, May 21, 2009 the U.S. Senate overwhelmingly voted,
90-6, against giving President Obama the $80 million for the closing of Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility.

We, the undersigned, wish to express our concern with the closing of Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility without a proper plan of what to do with the dangerous detainees kept there.

We therefore ask that the closing of Guantanamo Bay Detention Facility is not considered until a solid, sound, and well thought out plan is presented to Congress.
