The newest cacmpaign from Nottingham Trent Architecture Society, see's its students trying to get Kevin McCloud to come to the university to discuss the 'Great British Refurb Campaign'.
The petition has been sent out to all universities within the region in hopes that Kevin will answer our emails and come to talk to us about this important Architectural topic.
The team at Nottingham Trent would charge people a small fee to attend the lecture, and then donate the proceeds towards a charity of Kevins choice. Kevins attendance would also enable a larger attendance rate for such an event, and would certainly attract more signatures to the 'Great British Refurb campaign's' petition.

We the students at Nottingham Trent University would like you to come to our University and discuss the 'Great British Refurb Campaign' with our scoiety, as well as other university Architecture societies within the region.
This petition is hosted by Nottingham Trent Architecture, NTA is completely student-run non-profit organisation to help integrate students into Architectural education & practice. We provide a year long series of socials, lectures and debates for students, aimed at promoting architectural awareness and providing links between students and professionals.
We aim to provide a wide range of lecture topics, with lecturers from disciplines such as architecture, engineering, art and sculpture. As such, we as a comittee have discussed the ideas of someone coming to discuss the campaign with us in a presentational format. In return we would offer signatures from every single attendee to the event on the petition.
The event would charge people a small fee to attend, and then donate the proceeds towards a charity of your choice. Your attendance would also enable a larger attendance rate for such an event, and would certainly attract more signatures to your campaigns petition. It would also inevitably be a boost to the image of our society as young Architects, as well as our school. We feel this is a great opportunity for the campaign to get its message to young students in the construction industry in order to promote the message the campaign is trying to spread.
There are two schools of Architecture in Nottingham, and we have links with schools across the region who are all going to sign this petiton online, and who will definetly sign your campaigns petiton also.
