Your Voice Matters - Support Sidewalk Dining

Your voice does matter, please help us by joining the petition to allow side walk dining in the Olde Village of Park Circle.

The Ordinance will allow food establishments with valid beer/wine and/or liquor permits to sell both food and drink at tables on the wide sidewalks of East Montague.

Establishments will have to be approved for a city-issued permit which will allow food sales during the hours of 7am-11pm, and alcohol sales during the hours of 3pm-11pm, Monday through Saturday.

Alcohol sales must also be suspended during North Charleston High School's home football games and any city approved/permitted public gathering (i.e. block parties, etc...)

Sidewalk dining must also allow a clear path for foot traffic (dimensions set forth within the Ordinance) and be kept neat and clean of debris. Alcoholic drinks may only be served with food and the number of drinks served cannot exceed the number of seats in a designated and approved seating area.

Citizens wishing to speak to Council regarding the Ordinance must complete the Request to Speak form below.

You can also visit www.northcharleston.gov/government for more information on Council member districts and other forms/requests. Citizens have three minutes to address Council.
