Sign the petition to prevent Rowland Homes from getting permission to build outside the Sandbach settlement zone on the Elworth Hall Farm site.
We the undersigned believe there is enough development taking place in and around Elworth and believe greenfield sites should remain untouched.
Rowland Homes want to develop the area of green fields which surrounds Elworth Hall Farm. We have been led to believe they plan to build 400 homes on the site in the next 4 years - this must not be allowed to happen!
This level of development would take housing outside the Sandbach settlement zone.
The roads & infrastructure surounding the site were never designed to cope with this volume of people.
Our green areas support a vast array of animal & birdlife, including a colony of badgers.
Once our countryside is gone - it's gone for good! Future generations will not be able to enjoy the rural life we have all come to appreciate.
We believe we have to take action now to stop any more new build in Sandbach or we risk becoming another faceless town in Cheshire & losing Sandbach's unique character.
