Petition to CLEAR CLOSED AND REDUNDANT petitions from care2sPetition site

We the undersigned ask that Care2 remove all closed and *redundant* petitions from the petition site. the accumulated petitions are a detriment to the ease of use of this site and require removal to facilitate those petitions which are live reccieving the full attention of the members of care 2.
We share the common goal of making a difference in the world with the organisers of care 2 and wish that they(the organisers)would facillitate this goal by reducing the listings to only those that are live.
Failing this we would ask that these petitions be put under a seperate heading clear for all to see such as OUTDATED/CLOSED PETITIONS. We believe there should be no real impediment to one or other of these actions.
We further believe that doing one or other of these actions would make the site more attactive to new recruits to care2 who are often overwhelmed by the sheer volume of apparently available petitions.In this day and age of computers it should not be a difficult task to do this service for the membership of care 2

*Redundant*= petitions past their close date which have not been closed and removed by their sponsors/petitions closed but not removed by their sponsors.
