Hallmark has led us to fall in love with Mountie Jack Thornton as he pursues the love of his life Elizabeth Thatcher. It took into the 5th Season that they finally got married. Within 2 days of marriage he was called out of town & several episodes later a Mountie came to town to tell his wife Elizabeth that he is dead.
