Harsher Punishment For Bulllies!

Bullying is a major problem in today's society. As technology has become more developed and more widely implemented, so has bullying become more cruel, and, in many cases, inescapable. In many cases, even when parents will pull them out of school or even move to a new area due to bullying, the bullies will still be able to text, email, or in many other ways still have contact with and hurt the victim.

Bullying should have harsher punishments. For many of the perpetrators of this crime, it is merely a pastime. They may not realize it- or, they may and just not care- but it can severely affect the victim's lifestyle, happiness, and in some cases, even their will to live. When bullying goes too far, it is abuse, plain and simple. It is a crime, and should be treated as such by making it a crime punishable by law.

Bullying leading to suicide or any sort of self-harm should be categorized as manslaughter, simple as that. If people who drive drunk and crash, causing the death of another can be convicted of manslaughter, so too should those who intentionally and cruelly harm and abuse another human being with words and actions.
