Help the chickens
The chicken slaughter industry is probably the cruelest of all. Undercover agents for animal rights groups have found terrible horrors for this beautiful creature. Baby male chicks are either thrown away or ground up fully conscious and fed to the female chickens. They may be considered lucky, for their female counterparts are in for much more pain. The women chicken are kept in extremely tiny cages where they will often go insane from the poor conditions and boredom. When they go insane they will try to attack other hens. When this happens the company workers will take the chickens and cut off the end of their beaks with a hot knife. Their beaks are loaded with nerve ending do this is unimaginably painful. This process is called debeaking and is all to common. The cages are loaded with feces and are to small for the animal to even spread her wings. Wounds will more than often go untreated. Sore eyes and broken bones are common. Sometimes if the chickens do not lay eggs fast enough, workers will not feed them for up to two weeks. They often die in this time period. Carcasses are left to rot in cages with living hens still in them. The true horror has just begun for these poor soles. Hens are literally thrown into even more compact cages and then driven to a slaughter house. There they are strung up by there feeble feet and sent to have their neck slit with no anesthetic. Sometimes this does not even knock them out and they are boiled alive. Why does this go on so? Money. It costs money to help these animals. Apparently money is more important than the well being of these animals. Do they too not feel pain!? Think about what I have told you! Do not let this cruelty go on! Do anything you can to help these poor creatures! Sign my signature to say that you do not approve of this brutality!
