Urge Sacramento to Offer Free Spay/Neuter

TOO MANY PETS ARE HOMELESS IN SACRAMENTO...
and all over the US, animals suffer from homelessness. An estimated 6-8 million animals enter animal shelters every year. Not even half of these animals go to forever homes. The horrifiying reality is that the rest are euthanized. Healthy, loving, pets are killed each year because there is no space in shelters.

Nationwide, animal shelters are forced to euthanize more than 2.7 million healthy, adoptable cats and dogs. Spay/neuter is the only permanent, 100 percent effective method of birth control for dogs and cats.

Fixing your pet is great:
prevents cancers and other health problems
discourages animals from running away
cuts down on behavioral issues such as marking
