UCO Needs to Establish an Official Dead Week!

Unlike most of the surrounding universities in the area, the University of Central Oklahoma does not have an official "dead week" - a week where there are no deadlines, exams, or projects due. An official dead week would allow students to study for their finals, which are often a large part of the class grade. Many students feel like they don't have enough time to study for their finals because they are too busy on group projects, studying for exams, and writing essays on "dead week". By establishing an official dead week, students would be able to study for their finals and professors would have enough time to get grades in before the final. Professors could hold class on dead week or hold office hours for additional help, however no deadlines or exams would be allowed on dead week. Sign this petition if you agree that UCO should establish an official dead week!
