In 2009 I took Levaquin, a Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic, and it ransacked my body--inside and out: seizures, tendon ruptures, insomnia, tinnitis, acid-like burning on my skin, psychosis, near paralysis, brain damage, irreversible neuropathy, continuous UTIs, antibiotic resistance, food intolerances and much more.
Once I was able to function due to a cocktail of the right meds and the right advice from other FQ Victims and Physicians in the know, I decided to devote myself to Advocacy. It has been difficult to get the Media to pay attention to this subject and I'm not sure why that is. Perhaps they are beholden to Big Pharma.
I sent my documented information to the Health Editor at our local Newspaper, and he absolutley refused to print anything about this on my behalf. I had asked him to "help me save lives." I certainly wouldn't wish FQ Toxicity on my worst enemy! There are 3,000 Mass Torts and about 2,000 deaths and thousands of people--babies to the elderly--are getting seriously injured every day!
Many people who have Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia or Kidney Dialysis don't know why they are so ill. From our research, most have taken a Fluoroquinolone prior to the onset of their illnesses. These "killer" antibiotics actually change one's DNA. This is no joke.
