Petition for improved design/range in boys clothing (High Street outlets)

It came to my attention recently that many Irish Parents are fed up with the lack of colour, choice & range of clothing for boys in the High Street stores throughout Ireland.

There seems to be a reasonably nice selection available for baby boys up to 12 months, but after that age the choice of styles & especially colours is dreadfully limited.
We have seen ENOUGH beige/brown/navy/grey/khaki.
We are BORED with slogans & logos.
We would dearly LOVE bright, fun, hard-wearing clothes that are flattering & interesting to look at.
UNISEX clothes would be incredibly useful, & easily designed.
Shoes & Socks in particular seem to be DREADFULLY boring for boys.

Some high street stores are making really nice baby boys clothes that would easily work in larger sizes. Why don't they do this?
Stores have a paltry selection of boys' clothes when compared to girls', which makes the shopping experience an exasperating one.
Some girls clothes are just a step or two away from being acceptable UNISEX clothes...this is because the colour range used is generally greater & more exciting.

This PETITION is intended to encourage the high street stores to consult more with mums & dads about what they would like to buy.
As a trained fashion designer I would be happy to work on any research & development projects the stores might propose.

Please sign this petition if you live in Ireland/UK & this problem affects you, & lets see if we can encourage any of the Major stores to supply what we actually want.

Thank you.
