This is in regards to the proposed Nissan Dealership in Riversong, Cochrane. I wish to strongly object to the development of the dealership in this location.
Riversong is a family community where development proposals should be considered very carefully; another dealership could ruin the character of the community and cause community members to be unhappy. The proposed siting of the development is particularly ill-considered due to the lack of amenities in our community.
As this is a family community there are many benefits to more family friendly buildings for example a restaurant or a grocery store. We would like to maintain a family friendly neighbourhood.
I know that you have been responsive to resident issues in the past, such as the 6 story seniors home project in Fireside, and I hope you will support this request. Thank you for your time.
