Henderson County CPS are quick to take kids. They can take them with no evidence behind the alligation and then make up lies to keep them in the system. While traumatizing the kids and the family. Studies from the mexican boarder wall have proven that forcably seperating kids from parents are traumatized and the effects can last a lifetime. Parents are being forced to give their kids up because the Social Workers tell lies to parents and threaten them to do things that their civil rights says they don't have to. Having parents sign papers that are not what they say they are, telling them what time an appt. is then changing it so it makes you look like you dont care enough to be on time or even there in some cases, making it seem like your not putting your kids as your 1st priority, falsifyig documents, lying in court so they can keep your kids longer so they can collect more state funds. They have even been known to hire therapist that will lie so they can keep your kids away from you and say it's in their best interest. These kids are being ripped away from parents because they either don't have the money to hire a lawyer that will actually fight for what's right instead of go with the flow of CPS. There's got to be something done! Kids and Families all over the state are suffering from the abuse of power these people have. They need to be accountable for their actions just as we do. New state and local rules need to be made. We need a change in the way CPS handles cases and people. These kids need us to advocate for them.
