Kirstie Alley Supports Domestic Violence

Kirstie Alley

Tell Kirstie Alley her Valentines Contest wasn't funny, and that her winner promoted Domestic Violence.
TELL KIRSTIE ALLEY AND HER STAFF HOW DANGEROUS IT IS TO REWARD SOMEONE FOR SUGGUESTIVE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
On February 3, 2010, Kirstie Alley held a contest on Twitter. The contestants were to fill in the blank of a specific question she asked, and the main rule was, it had to be funny and clever answers. The game began at around 9 Pacific time. The prize was a Dinner for two at a local resturant of the winners choice $300.00.
The sentence was "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue", and the contestant filled in the rest.
The winning statement by novatribe on Twitter was "Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, if you cheat on me, I will close your snatch with glue". Chosen by Kirstie Alley and her staff.
So, this man just one a $300.00 dinner for telling the world that if his girlfriend cheats on him, he will do whatever it takes, even if it brings her harm.
Kirstie Alley should be a shamed of herself. Her Bio says she is a human rights activist, but can laugh at and mock domestic violence acts.
Kirstie Alley, this is not funny, this isn't a joke. You have made a mockery of disgusting hideous acts that have actually happened to women in domestic violence situations, and we demand a public apology to domestic violence victoms. A needy domestic violence shelter should also be given some of your attention and a Representative of that shelter
should varify it.
Kirstie Alley, even though you may have thought your contest joke was harmless and funny, it wasn't. It made a mockery out of the victims of domestic violence. Find it in your heart and character to see the pain this has caused to the people who suffer from this everyday.
You have to step up to the plate now and recognize your error. You may think this is trivial, but until we get this epedemic under control, there is no room for these types of jokes.
