Chairman of the Federal Reserve is one of the most important jobs in America, and arguably THE most important when it comes to the economy.
Which is why we can't have a nut job or an ass-kissing sock puppet in that position. And why the Senate must reject Trump's nominee, Kevin Warsh.
Warsh appeared before the Senate Banking Committee to answer questions, and it was a disaster. The Fed Chair is supposed to make decisions independent of the White House, something especially critical when the person occupying the White House is a blithering idiot who is destroying the economy as we speak. Senator Elizabeth Warren attempted to test his independence by asking him very simple questions:
- Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election? - This is an easy softball, but he wouldn't give a straight answer. He either believes Trump's nonsense, or he's too much of an ass-kisser to say anything out of sync with Trump.
- Is there anything on which you disagree with Donald Trump? - Derp.
- ANYTHING? Just one thing? - Homina, homina, homina
It really was cringe-worthy (watch here and here).
If Warsh is too scared to take on Trump on such easy questions, it's pretty clear that he's going to be doing Trump's bidding, regardless of how stupid it is, and how catastrophic it will be for the economy.
