We the undersigned citizens of The United States of America respectfully demand that The House of Representatives pass the required articles of impeachment against Speaker of the House Nancy Patricia Pelosi (8th Congressional District of California) for the following reasons:
1- The failure of the Speaker to allow a vote on the floor of the House of Representatives on energy reform and the drilling of our own domestic oil reserves while the citizens of this country suffer both economically AND emotionally from the financial burdens we as a nation face today.
2- The Speakers continued partisan politics that puts her interests first, and the people of America last. Here is a reminder of her opening line during her acceptance speech as Speaker of the house, January 4, 2007. A reminder of her never ending lies and deceit.
"I accept this gavel in the spirit of partnership, not partisanship, and I look forward to working with you Mr. Boehner and the Republicans in the Congress on behalf of the American people."
3- Numerous polls are showing that approximately 70% of Americans desperately want to over turn moratoriums on drilling offshore and on the vast reserves in ANWAR. This demonstrates Speaker Pelosi's continued failure to listen, understand, and respect the voice of the citizens she represents.
4- Choosing to vote on your august recess and ignoring the request of the House Republican Leader John Boehner's (R-OH) appeal to continue the 2nd session of the 110th Congress until the issue of our nation's energy crisis is resolved.
The fact that Speaker Pelosi is blocking this vote is equivalent to abridging the freedom of speech, which is a violation of our Constitutional First Amendment rights as American Citizens. It has become apparent that Speaker Pelosi is running the house as her own dictatorship which is illegal and unconstitutional. It is time to remove her from the coveted office that she has so disrespectfully disgraced.
IMPEACH NACNCY PELOSI NOW!
It is time to take back America. It is time to remove those who do not listen to the people, those who do not work for the people, and those who are whose self serving interests come first. It is time act America. Let send Nancy Pelosi back to where she came from and let us do it now!
