T�l�cabine de Montr�al constituera, pour notre ville, une toute nouvelle cat�gorie d'attraction de calibre mondial. Son impact �conomique surpassera celui de la Formule 1 et du Festival international de jazz de Montr�al r�unis. T�l�cabine de Montr�al fournira �galement un lien crucial entre deux grandes destinations touristiques, et ce, de fa�on �cologique.

Les organismes suivants ont fourni, � T�l�cabine de Montr�al, un appui consid�rable :

• Parc Jean-Drapeau (Ville de Montr�al)
• Tourisme Montr�al
• Soci�t� du Havre de Montr�al
• Soci�t� de d�veloppement commercial du Vieux-Montr�al

Actuellement, la Soci�t� du Vieux-Port de Montr�al portent entrave � la concr�tisation du projet T�l�cabine de Montr�al :

• Madame Claude Benoit, pr�sidente et chef de la direction
• Monsieur Bernard Roy, pr�sident du conseil

Afin que le projet puisse aller de l'avant, Skylink doit d'abord finaliser avec la Soci�t� du Vieux-Port de Montr�al une entente visant la petite parcelle de terrain dont Skylink a besoin.

Vous �tes en position d'autorit� par rapport � la Soci�t� du Vieux-Port de Montr�al. Je vous demande donc d'interc�der pour que Skylink puisse finaliser, d'ici la fin janvier 2009, l'entente visant la petite parcelle de terrain dont elle a besoin. Ainsi, Skylink pourra concr�tiser, pour notre ville, d'ici la fin mai 2010, ce projet de 100 millions de dollars, sans l'aide de fonds publics.

I have just visited the Montreal Aerial Gondola website. What an exciting project for Montreal!

As a concerned citizen I am writing to ask you to help make the Montreal Aerial Gondola a reality.

The Montreal Aerial Gondola will be a new world class landmark attraction for Montreal that will have a greater economic impact than the Grand Prix and the Jazz Festival combined. The Montreal Aerial Gondola will also provide a vital link between two major tourist destinations, all in an environmentally friendly way.

The Montreal Aerial Gondola has received strong support from the following organizations:

• Parc Jean-Drapeau (Ville de Montr�al)
• Tourisme Montr�al
• Soci�t� du Havre de Montr�al
• Soci�t� de D�veloppement Commercial du Vieux-Montr�al

Currently, the Montr�al Aerial Gondola is being blocked by the Old Port of Montreal Corporation:

• Madame Claude Benoit, President and CEO
• Mr. Bernard Roy, Chairman of the Board

In order for the project to proceed, Skylink needs to finalize a land agreement with the Old Port of Montreal Corporation for the small area of land they require.

Since you are in a position of authority in regards to the Old Port of Montreal Corporation, I am asking that you intercede to allow Skylink to obtain the land agreement that they require by the end of January 2009 so they can make this $100 million project a reality for our city by May 2010, especially when no public funds have been requested.
