PETITION TO BAN BIRDS IN CAGESAND THE TRADE IN AUSTRALIAN NATIVE BIRDS

The caging of birds is cruel. Most of Australia's native birds can be bought and sold with or without licences - destined for a traumatic existence and confined for life in a cage. These birds are deprived of every natural instinct, and in the case of cockatoos, can live for up to
100 years. In the 21st century, it is time to free caged birds.

WE REALLY NEED AUSTRALIANS TO SIGN THIS

The undersigned petitioners therefore request:
A ban on keeping birds captive in cages.
A ban on the sale of licences to breed and sell Australian native birds.
Legislation for minimum cage sizes for existing captive birds.

We, the undersigned petitioners therefore request:
A ban on keeping birds captive in cages.
A ban on the sale of licences to breed and sell Australian native birds.

Thank you for your time and willingness to understand our request on behalf of all birds denied their natural rights.
