Uranium Mining: Say No in Kettle River Headwaters

In April 2008 the Provincial Government of British Columbia announced an effective Moratorium (a no registration reserve) on uranium mining in the Province and stated that: "all uranium deposits will remain undeveloped"
In October 2008 Boss Power Corp/Blizzard Uranium Corp filed a damages lawsuit against the Province and it has been reported that the Province's statement of defense says the reserve doesn't apply to Boss/Blizzard.
We call on the Provincial Government and the Ministry of Mines to confirm that the Moratorium (no registration reserve) still applies throughout the Province and that no uranium or thorium mining will be permitted in the Kettle River watershed.
