Petition of promise to boycott all dealing with Japan until they cease all whaling.

WE THE UNDERSIGNED hereby promise to boycott Japan, this includes all things made and exported from Japan as well as the tourist trade to Japan.
We are appalled at the stance taken by the Japanese government and the people of Japan as to the continuance of commercial whaling under the guise of scientific study. This stance is in direct contradiction of that taken by the rest of the world in general.
We urge you as prime minister to bring to bear the neccessary laws etc. to put a stop to this once and for all.
We will boycott your country and tell all the people we know to do the same thing until you comply with our request. It is unconscionable that such barbaric and cruel methods are still in use against these magnificent and intelligent creatures, therefor we pledge herein to do as stated and boycott your country,until you desist.
