Remove Palm Oil from Kraft's biscuits
Kraft say that they're committed to reducing the environmental impact of their activities, preventing pollution and promoting the sustainability of the natural resources upon which they depend. Surely, if they realized how destructive Palm Oil is, they would strive to remove it from their products?
On top of that, the Palm Oil industry is the greatest threat to Orangutan's in the wild. On average, it costs the lives of about 50 orangutans per week. This means that more than 2,600 Orangutans die every single year simply so that we can enjoy products such as Oreos, Ritz, Premium, Chips Ahoy! etc.
Please help us to pressure this global company to try and do the right thing.
I, for one, will be boycotting until they either:
a) remove all palm oil from their biscuits OR
b) can prove they only use 100% Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)
Kraft, we implore you to remove Palm Oil from your Australian biscuits. We will boycott your products as long as they contain Palm Oil that is not 100% RSPO.
We the undersigned are against the addition of Palm Oil to your Australian biscuits. We are aware of the environmental devastation occurring in Indonesia due to the Palm Oil industry.
We will be boycotting all your products (and associated brands that you own) until you remove Palm Oil.
One of our closest relatives, the Orangutan will be extinct in the wild in 12 years if companies such as yourself don't take action and ensure they are operating in an environmentally friendly manner.
Please listen to your customers - you used to be a household favorite in Australia, but now are becoming the outcast of the biscuit brands.
Live up to your reputation as Australia's most reputable brand by earning that trust back and removing the Palm Oil from your biscuits.
