Save Lives & Injuries on Hwy.216

I currently live on the bend of Hwy. 216 just passed Hurricane Creek. In the past 4 years I have lived here with my boyfriend, there has been 1 fatal accident and too many wrecks to count on two hands. Unfortunately, my boyfriend has seen many more fatal accidents in his driveway than any human could bare to see. The city refuses to install a drainage pipe which would fill the ditch enough to keep drivers from totaling their cars if one tire happened to slip off the road. Also, there are no guard rails, no signs, no hint of a warning that if one of your tires leaves the road you will end up in our ditch, totaling your car. I would like to start a petition that I know the people of Cottondale, Peterson, Brookwood, and Vance, Alabama can all agree on. Please help me spread the word and make this petition possible.
