JUSTICE FOR MAGGIE - MISSED DIAGNOSIS RESULTING IN DEATH!

  • recipient: SPRING MEADOW VET CLINIC - ASHLAND

March 12th - March 14th 2020 while still in the care of her foster mom, Maggie was seen by SPRING MEADOW VET CLINIC IN ASHLAND OHIO to address loss of appetite and vomiting. During this time Maggie stayed with them In house for 3 days totaling almost $600.
8 days later, on March 22, 2020, I adopted Maggie and brought her home.
Over the following 8 days, Maggie not feeling better, and started showing worsening symptoms, she was rushed to OSU Veterinary Medical Center on March 31st, 2020.

MAGGIES DIAGNOSIS WAS MISSED BY SPRING MEADOW

After just ONE exam at OSU...
MAGGIE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH STAGE IV (end stage) KIDNEY FAILURE.

3 day later, on April 2nd, 2020, I had to make a heartbreaking decision, and Maggie was euthanized after all other options were weighed.

Spring Meadow refused to release Maggie's medical record to me, they have denied all claims and said they did all they could do. After finally releasing her records to me, they contacted their attorney the following day. Suspicious?

After spending close to $600 and a 3 day stay with this clinic, KIDNEY/RENAL FAILURE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN MISSED WHEN IT TOOK ANOTHER VET ONLY 1 TEST TO DIAGNOSE.

Spring Meadow has refused all contact with me by not returning phone calls, and contacting their attorney, Elizabeth Wright with Brohl Law.
Elizabeth claims she tried calling me and provided the number she called, which indeed WAS my number, and stated a woman answered and knew of nobody by my name. I informed her that I had NOT received her call and would like a copy of her call records, as I supplied my call records directly from version showing all incoming and outgoing call - all of which were accounted for, and identified. Elizabeth not being any of them.

After emailing Elizabeth 3 times, I have never heard back from her to this day (5-10-2020)

Now it may be a coincidence, but I find it odd that they FINALLY released Maggie's medical records to me the day before Maggie was euthanized, and then contacted their attorney the following day? No reason for that if they are claiming they did nothing wrong.

After paying TWO veterinarians (who had never seen Maggie) to look over her records from Spring Meadow, both confirmed Maggie's kidney and liver values were shockingly high and showed signed of renal failure that should have warranted further testing.

PLEASE, considering signing Maggie's petition because there is power in numbers. I will be proceeding with a court hearing regarding this matter at a later date when more information is collected
