New Pocatello, ID Skate Park

Currently, the skatepark at Ross Park in Pocatello, ID sits on an old, asphalt parking lot with metal and wood structures that are breaking down. The biggest concern here is safety for all attendees. The asphalt and structures are hazardous. A concrete, professionally built skate park needs to be installed to remove all hazardous conditions. The new skatepark will be a free-to-use, safe, inclusive, and family oriented sports facility for users of all ages. Skateparks are proven to increase health, well-being, and community cohesion while reducing social exclusion and anti-social behavior. The skatepark will not only benefit skatepark users, it will enhance the town and will be an asset to the entire community. Please sign this petition to show support and prove that there is a need for a concrete skatepark in Pocatello. Help make our community a better experience for all who visit.
