CELEBRATE NATIVE AMERICANS AND INDIGENOUS PEOPLES NOT COLUMBUS

Native Americans deserve to be celebrated - they were in America way before Columbus arrived. The truth is, Columbus was lost, and it was the indigenous people who discovered Columbus.

Therefore be it resolved that the U.S. government should reevaluate Columbus day, and make the second monday of October a national holiday for indigenous people. Honor the indigenous people by establishing a nationally recognized indigenous holiday.

Dear United States government Official:

I signed this pettion because I  believe and support that Native Americans deserve to be celebrated - they were in America way before Columbus arrived.
