Save Plants Killed By Wal-Mart

We the undersigned are speaking out again the abuse and waste of plants by your company. Every day Wal-Mart stores crush and kill plants that are deemed "unworthy of sale." Employees in the garden center collect plants that are wilted, broken, or bare and pile them up to be put into a machine that crushes them up and kills them. Most stores do not even mark the dying plants down for discount they just kill them because they can get a full value price of the plant from the vendor.

These plants very easily could be donated to the local community, parks, housing developments, etc., and would thrive after being planted. Even the plants that are completely dead could be recycled for mulch, composting, etc.

There is no excuse for Wal-Mart to kill and waste thousands of plants daily!! Donating the dying plants would not only help our environment, but encourage the community to partake in "green" living, and make Wal-Mart look GOOD while doing so!!

PLEASE hear our protest against the abuse and waste of plants as stated in this petition and help our environment. Save the thousands of plants that are crushed and thrown away every day for no reason other than monetary greed by Wal-Mart and your vendors.
