Being president doesn't mean you can randomly start smashing buildings like Godzilla -- especially buildings that are national treasures.
Trump had no right to rip a chunk out of the White House just because he felt like it. There are rules for doing this kind of thing, and Trump ignored them.
He broke it, and now he needs to fix it. Exactly as it was. And he needs to pay for it from his own funds.
Whether it's by order of Congress, a judge, or the next president, it just needs to happen. And it will, if America demands it. He may want to be a dictator, but he's not -- his poll numbers are cratering, he is becoming more of a lame duck with each day, and more and more of his most prominent reporters are ditching him, unwilling to defend his failures.
