Ban puppy mills in Maryland!

Every year over half a million puppies are produced in puppy mills in the United States. These mills keep their dogs in filthy, confined cages with no human interaction. They breed their dogs over and over and over, until the female dogs cannot reproduce any more, and they are shot or left in the woods to die. Almost all puppies that come from puppy mills are sick or will develop sicknesses as they age. Right now, they are 100% legal, and the state of Maryland has no regulations on the required conditions in puppy mills. Puppy mills need to be banned!!
