Bullfighting in Spain - Animal Cruelty

Bullfighting is a commonly practiced tradition in Spain. However, it is also a form of animal cruelty. Watch the video carefully and listen to the narration. You will see the violence and suffering that ensues.

The bull is barbed and speared multiple times. The sharp tips are driven into its back and neck, causing it pain. Then, it is aggravated and made to move around so that the tips will pierce deeper and move around, so that it will cause more pain. Sometimes the sword that is driven pierces the animal's lungs, causing it to choke and cough up blood. The bull is then unceremoniously dragged in humiliation out of the ring, sometimes while it is still alive and aware of its suffering.

The matadors also ride horses, which are blindfolded so that they cannot defend themselves against the charges of the bull. The horse is given padded protection, but it is still vulnerable to the attacks of the aggravated and hurt bull. This is another form of animal cruelty.

Please sign this petition and help these animals' suffering and pain.
We are aware that this is a very old and deep-rooted tradition in Spain, and that is very important to its culture. However, there is no need for the animals that are in the ring to suffer so much. perhaps if the animals were killed painlessly and immediately, it would be a lot better. There can also be painkillers or similar given to the animals before the fight. Please, if just one small change that made the animals' suffering lessen, we would greatly appreciate it.
