To the lovely ladies of the view,

Hi our names are Maritza Vasquez and Ashley Martino and we're from Orange County, New York. Lets start off by saying we the view! Its pretty much a show with its own feel unlike others. Each cast member brings something different to the show. Its hard to watch because of school but, whenever we can we make sure we do. We%u2019ve noticed that the view has had some musical stars on their show in the past, and we thought who else could be more understanding then those gals! So we wanted to tell you our tale. It would be amazing if you took the time to read this.

I am writing to you today to talk about a specific band. Maybe you've heard of them, they are called the Jonas Brothers. If you haven't heard of them, they are a band that consists of three brothers one 15, the other 18, and the oldest 20. These brothers started off in a little red van being opening acts. However, they have grown into huge fame. Many, children, teens, and adults know these boys and spend a lot of time trying to get fortunate to buy tickets and attend a concert. Little do they know that just a few years ago, if you were screaming to meet them you would be of one in a small bunch. People didn't even know who they were until recently. So now that you have some background information on the band, you are probably are curious why you're reading this letter. I'm sure you wouldn't be surprised when I tell you that most of the girls are only fans because of their looks but, that's just the society we live in today. But I can tell you a hundred percent that us five girls aren't fans for just their looks. We think they are talented artists who manage to not let Hollywood take them over. Also, we are extremely proud of them for what they have accomplished.

Some girls spend their time drooling over Nick Jonas who happens to be the youngest in the band at the age of 15. I'm sure a lot of girls could tell you they love his hair and those muscles but, my friends Kristin and Caitlin could give you better reasons. They have been fans since these boys have been a band and have wanted to meet them for years! If you asked them they would tell you how happy it makes them to know, that he has made it through his diabetes that he was diagnosed with not too long ago.

If girls aren't drooling over Nick they could very possibly be drooling over Joe, but his looks don't mean everything to my friend Kathryn or I. We think he seems fun to have around with his sarcasm and jokes. Also, he's eighteen and doesn't act like most eighteen year olds. He has kept himself grounded with the people who matter most and figuring out who he is as a person like most teens his age. Joe and Nick both have amazing voices.

The girls who haven't screamed so hard that they lost their voice for Joe and Nick, are screaming for Kevin. Kevin is the oldest of the brothers at the age of twenty. Out of our group of friends Ashley is the one that screams for him. We all admire the fact that he is twenty years old and still manages to spend his time touring around the country with his family. Not only does he know how to have fun with his brothers and everyone involved with the band, he also knows when to be mature and can act almost as the father of the band when it's needed.

Now that you have some insight that we truly care for them I would like to tell you about March 18th which was when we had gotten a meet and greet at a concert in Wallingford, Connecticut. This may seem like it wouldn't be such a big deal however, we have gone through a lot in the past. If you talked to Kristin she would tell you about the meet and greet that was taken from us a few years ago. But it doesn't stop there, when we went to the concert in Wallingford we brought posters, just like any fan would. These posters took four hours to make and cost us $60 worth of supplies. As we were walking out of our meet and greet with the boys, security took them claiming they were "too big". If you knew my friends and I, you would know we are more than grateful for the opportunity to meet them. It was an amazing experience for us. Us five have made it our goal to be able to have more than a picture, we want to get to know them because we think they are just pretty cool people to know.

If you sit down and think, these boys hold something not many others can. These three boys can make girls spend thousands of dollars on a concert for just a few hours, and hundreds of dollars on merchandise from the band. If that wasn't enough, they have the power to make girls scream like no girl ever should, and in just one song they could have a girl in tears. At this age you would never think three brothers could have this hold on the teenage population, but its true! I can speak for my friends when I say we don't just want to be fans, we're aiming for a friendship. Their songs can help ten different girls in ten different ways, by being able to connect with each and every fan. I can't use a word for the emotion we would have if you could help make this dream possible. We would be more than grateful.

In conclusion we know that the Jonas Brothers are very big today. They%u2019re the hottest tickets in town and all of the teenage population goes nuts for them. They have been on pretty much every major talk show except for the view and we want to make it possible for them to play for them too. We know that they have played for big talk shows like Ellen and Oprah. They even played for the president! And we were just thinking if they have given the time to be on those shows that they should definitely consider to be the view. Also, the fact that you sat down and read this letter means a lot to us, and we appreciate it.

Ashley and I will also be at their show on August 14th in Bethel Woods and hope to soon come to the view to watch the Jonas Brothers too! The two of us have our own you tube page and got over 100 views in less than 24 hours on our first episode. We hope everything is well and that we hear from you soon.
