In Islam the picture of Prophet Muhammad and other Humans are not allowed. However, Wikipedia is not run for the interests of Islam or any other religion. There are some Muslims who are pressuring Wikipedia editors to remove pictures of Muhammad (see http://tinyurl.com/ysnvjn ). This, I feel, goes against the right to freedom of expression, which is an international human right.
Wikipedia is meant to be a source of information that is objective and neutral without bias to any group. So, please sign the petition to support the Wikipedia editors in keeping the pictures of Muhammad on display. The petition to remove the pics has over 100,000 signatures so far... lets aim to match and beat those.
