Meat Free Monday

For the environment. For our health.
We need to eat less meat.
The world's leading authority on climate change, Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, chair of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said people should have one meat-free day a week if they want to make a personal and effective sacrifice that would help tackle climate change, as reported in The Observer.

This is a great opportunity to encourage people and their health, and to bring people together for another common cause: reducing their impact upon our environment in a really big way.  Encourage your family and even your city to do this. It is working in some cities around the world, like Ghent Belgium, why not your city? Write to you local newspaper or to your mayor, like I did.
