Save Endangered Forests from Clear-Cutting for Fast Food Packaging Material

Our forests shouldn't be chopped down, chipped up, made into packaging and tossed in the landfill.

5 million acres of forest are clearcut every year in the Southern U.S., and most of that is being sold for packaging.  It doesn't have to be that way.

I pledge to make a difference.  I pledge to do my part to make the corporations that contribute to the packaging problem change with me.  I pledge to be a part of the packaging solution.

And when these packaging companies chage, I will be able to say, "I did that!"

The paper packaging industry needs reform.  I support effort to reduce the amount of paper in packaging, increase recycled fibewr used in packaging, and ensure that paper products are not coming from our endangered forests.
