END FISHING SUBSIDIES IN CHINA BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

31 percent of the world's fish species are currently harvested at an unsustainable high level and further 58 percent are being fished at a maximum level which prevents growth.
China has nearly 2,500 fishing boats at sea, ten times as many as the United States. Unreported Chinese fuel subsidies to deepwater fishing fleets contributes to overfishing and illegal and unregulated fishing. China must initiate measures with the aim of ending the subsidies that promotes overfishing before it becomes to late!
