Stop illegal gold mining in Madre de Dios, world center of biodiversity

Madre de Dios is a world center of biodiversity and in this region are located important natural reserves such as Manu and Tambopata, however, rivers are continuously contaminated by gold mining activities illegal. The Peruvian state determined that the illegal miners had as the deadline to regularize their activities and adjust to acceptable environmental parameters, until September of this year. However, the current Peruvian government has given an extension until 2016 for this regularization.
Please! Join to petition the Peruvian government to stop the pollution that is eliminating the biodiversity of these tropical rainforests and also uses children as slaves in this work. More information:
