Animal Abuse Tracker

For years animal abuse perpetrators only received a fine and sent on their way. They were not tracked afterwards in anyway shape or form ex: their home address. Now those same people who just got convicted for dog fighting or abuse of an animal could still get a job working with or around pets and own a pet. I don't know about any of you, but my animals are more than just pet's they are family. I also know that no one would send their child to a babysitter if we had known that they were in fact a child predator and being tracked by Megan’s Law. Just think of it for a second. It could be my animals or even yours that could be in their care for a long period of time without you being present. Would any of you even want to take the risks? Well if you wouldn’t do that than why I ask you would any of us send our animals, our family into the care of a business who might have an employee who was a previously convicted animal abuser. The answer is simple it would never happen if they were listed on a registry. That is why I am proposing the "Animal Abuse Tracker". This program would track convicted offenders of any type of animal abuse so that they would not be able to secure a job working with or around other animals. This also would prevent the abuser from owning another animal of any kind. The Animal Abuse Tracker is to give you peace of mind so you know that the business you took your furry friend to wouldn’t be allowed to hire an individual convicted of Animal Abuse. The prospective employer would be able to do a simple free online search and see that the person wanting employment at their establishment has prior animal abuse convictions. It will also prevent individuals from adopting or purchasing a pet they could also be able to do the search before the animal was purchased, actually it would be a federal law before any animal was sold that this check must be done. Please help in my efforts to keep your pets (family member) from harm for the present and future.
