politicians, stop lying to us!

you politicians today make false promises to the general public so you can win an election.  Quit lying to us just to make yourself look good and get our hopes up.  We will vote for you if you have a good platform and if we believe in your ideas and goals for our country. However, if your intentions are just a facade for the media, you can forget about our trust.  Like George Washington once said in his Farewell Address, "I hold the maximum no less applicable to public than to private affairs that HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY."
