My daughters and I are planning a benefit concert for Cystic Fibrosis in the spring of 2009. We are trying to get some local bands to perform and we want the Jonas Brothers to be the headlining band. The benefit to help with the funding of more research for a cure for cystic fibrosis which affects so many young people in our country and all over the world.
We were touched when we learned that some friends of our family are struggling with this disease. We were prompted to do our own research, and found that the affects and symptoms can be devastating. We would like very much if a cure was found in the near future, but that is a dream.
That is why we are planning this event, we want to make people aware and educated, and also help fund more intense research.
The name of our event is For The Roses 2009. The name came about when we read about the foundation and their trademark "65 Roses". Please go to
