Protect Malaysia's Elephants: Stop Overseas Wildlife Transfers

Malaysia's elephants are a national treasure and play an important role in maintaining our natural ecosystems. The transfer of elephants such as Dara, Amoi, and Kelat overseas has raised serious concerns among citizens, conservationists, and animal welfare advocates.

We urge the Malaysian Government and relevant authorities to immediately halt any plans to transfer these elephants abroad and prioritise their welfare within Malaysia. Instead, resources should be invested in improving local conservation efforts, expanding protected habitats, and strengthening wildlife protection policies.

By keeping these elephants in Malaysia and ensuring proper care and conservation, we can protect our natural heritage for future generations while promoting responsible wildlife management.

We call on the authorities to stop overseas transfers and safeguard Malaysia's elephants.
