Reform New York's Court System Now!

Innocent New Yorker Mike Browder spent three years in the Bronx prison, Rikers Island without being convicted of any crimes. Demand that New York fix the clogged courts and refuse to let them punish innocent people without trials!

The police took Mike in to the station when a man accused him of stealing his backpack and punching him in the face. Mike was innocent and told the police that he did not commit the crime. Through New York's incredibly slow and crippled justice system, Mike was unable to get a trial to plead his innocence, and he spent the next three years waiting in prison for an opportunity to set the record straight.

Mike was pressured to plead guilty to crimes he did not commit, but he refused to admit to breaking the law when he didn't do it.

New York State should not be keeping innocent people in prison for three years when they haven't been convicted of a crime! Tell the New York State Legislature to ensure that justice is served quickly, without destroying the lives of innocent people.
