The Myers' Surinam Toad on the verge of extinction

The Myers Surinam Toad is the only Pipa toad in North America , it distinguished from Her flat and thin body , its habitats are the subtropical and tropical moist lowland.  It is  listed as endangered on the IUCNRed list ,its population is unknown since no research has been made and no conservation project has been  done yet, but it now considered as Critical endangered.

Threats of habitat loss are due to destruction of forrests , intensified agriculture or gazing , long-distance pesticides and  toxins and pollutants
