The Angonoka Tortoise is one one of the rarest land tortoises in the world. It is endemic to Madagascar and is critically endangered. The main threats to this species are fires started to clear land for cattle grazing and collection for the pet trade. Today, only between 440 and 770 individuals of this species are alive. Save them before it's too late!
