Justice, Transparency & Accountability in Death of Kenny Cromer & Missing Tamijo Blair

The family of Kenny Cromer is requesting a full, independent review of the investigation into his death, along with formal action regarding the unaddressed disappearance of TamiJo Blair. We are simply asking for transparency, access to evidence, and a proper missing-person inquiry.

We, the undersigned, are asking for transparency and accountability in the investigation into the death of Kenny Cromer and the unaddressed disappearance of TamiJo Blair.

Kenny died along Highway 301 under circumstances that remain unclear. His family obtained bystander video from the scene, but the sheriff's office has stated they possess clearer footage that allegedly supports their narrative. Despite this, the family has not been permitted to view the footage, even after repeated requests.

The information provided to the family has been inconsistent.

The cause of death listed on their documentation does not match what investigators verbally described.

Witness statements from individuals present that night contradict one another and appear repeated word-for-word, as if rehearsed.

Multiple versions of events have circulated — none aligning with the video the family already has.

At the same time, TamiJo Blair, reportedly the last person with direct knowledge of the events leading up to Kenny's death, has not been seen since early August. Friends, family, and even relatives she was claimed to be staying with have confirmed they have not seen or spoken to her in years. Despite this, attempts to file a missing-person report were dismissed on the grounds that she had not "communicated a threat to herself or others."

Kenny's family is not seeking blame.

They are seeking facts.

We are asking for:

1. An independent review of all video and evidence in Kenny Cromer's case.

2. Transparent release of information to the family once the case is closed.

3. A formal, accepted missing-person report for TamiJo Blair and appropriate investigative action.

4. Oversight from state-level authorities to ensure procedures were properly followed.

Kenny's mother, his family, and his community deserve to know the truth.

If the official version of events is accurate, the evidence should support it — and the family should be allowed to see it.

If TamiJo is safe, there should be verifiable confirmation.

If she is missing, action should already have been taken.

Kenny was an organ donor whose final act saved multiple lives. His family—and the community supporting them—believe he deserves a full and complete accounting of what happened to him.

This petition does not assume guilt, point fingers, or make accusations. It simply asks for clarity, accountability, and the truth, so that Kenny's loved ones can receive closure and ensure the circumstances of his death are understood and properly addressed.

We respectfully call on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, and the Florida State Police to ensure both investigations receive the transparency and professionalism every family deserves.
