JUSTICE FOR ERIC COBB

Eric Cobb is a young man serving a 15 year Prison Sentence for a Manslaughter conviction. This guy was at the wrong place at the wrong time and unfortunately he just made a terrible mistake by trying to stop a fight between a drunken sopp older man that was constantly running his mouth inside of a bar at Eric Cobb's cousin. Eric Cobb stepped in between the two to stop them from fighting & unfortunately the drunken sopp older guy spit in Eric Cobb's face & Eric Cobb hit the guy one time & he fell down, hit the concrete & later on died in the hospital. What the SC Justice System ETC fell to mention was the victim was dieing from Cancer, he was at the bar getting drunk b/c he was drinking the little bit of time he had left to live. He was wanting to die. Since Eric Cobb was arrested for this crime he has lost custody of his precious little children. Lost several rights to his own personal life belongings. I feel his sentence is way too much for the crime he committed. He has made several attempts to show Mercy for what he's done to that family's loss. He deserves to be released!!!!! Please understand and sign this petition for my very dear friend. Just an extra comment, I myself am a retired NCDOC Prison system Nurse from 8 1/2 yrs of experience in the field.
