North Carolina Foster Parents' Bill of Rights

Foster Parents just want to be treated as professionals. We want to know what resources are available for our families and foster children we serve. We also want to be told of meetings and court hearings in a timely manner. As foster parents, we want to be heard in court regarding the foster children in our home. We have a relationship with the child that no other professional on the team has. We also want to be respected regardless of our religion, race, color, creed, gender, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, physical handicap, or sexual orientation. Here's the rest of the Bill of Rights. https://webservices.ncleg.gov/ViewBillDocument/2021/50949/0/DRH10385-NB-150
