The Federal Trade Commision is in charge of regulating false advertising on television and Radio Stations. However I feel it has failed when it comes to regulating what is allowed on the internet. Please sign this petition to have Congress and the FTC make stricter laws on internet false advertising. The internet should have the same rules and regulations about false advertising that the media and television have so that consumers do not fall into the trap of the growing number of scams that have become the norm on the internet. From fake employment ads, to fake items being sold to consumers, false real estate listings and so much more. The list is too long to put on this petition. The BBB has seen a rise in scams and people losing millions if not billions of dollars to false advertising on the internet. This must stop!
