Petition for Fairness and Freshness on Jeopardy!

    Dear Sony and Jeopardy Producers,
As dedicated fans of the show, we believe Jeopardy! deserves to be a fun, fair, and educational game show that celebrates knowledge, diversity, and new talent. We are concerned about several current practices that undermine the show's integrity and enjoyment, and we respectfully ask for the following changes:

Limit the Number of Wins for Champions: Champions should have a cap on how many games they can win to give more contestants a fair chance and keep the show exciting.

Introduce New Hosts: The host should be someone new and unknown—similar to how Alex Trebek was, without prior Jeopardy! experience—to bring fresh energy and impartiality.

    Revise Tournament Formats:

Include a Teen Tournament, Kids' Week, Teachers' Tournament, and College Tournament to showcase diverse talents.
End each season with the Tournament of Champions before repeating episodes.
Limit the Jeopardy Masters Tournament to every two years, featuring the most likable and accomplished past contestants.

    Improve the Judging Process:

Judges should immediately rule on incorrect answers, and if a contestant, even a champion, is ruled wrong, they should lose the money for that question.

    Address Hosts and Announcers:

Hosts should be held accountable for correct answers and fairness, and favoritism should be eliminated.
The current approach to incorrect answers, especially from Ken Jennings, should be more consistent.

    Remove Useless or Distracting Elements:

The Box Scores on Jeopardy.com are unnecessary and clutter the viewing experience.

Focus on Education, Not Just Sports:

Jeopardy! should emphasize fun, learning, and fairness rather than becoming more like a sport or competition solely driven by ratings.

We love Jeopardy! and want it to remain a symbol of knowledge and integrity. Please consider these suggestions to make the show better for everyone.
Thank you for your attention and for your dedication to the game.
